Andreas Rickenbach grew up in his father’s cabinet and construction shop at a young age in Pleasanton, CA.  Being avid skiers they drove to Tahoe every weekend, and in 1982 he moved to Tahoe permanently where he would be able to enjoy the great amenities Tahoe has to offer and fulfill his dreams of ski racing.  He was a member of the United States Ski Team from 1985 to 1989, he was also named to the 1987 World Championship Team.  He continued on to coach the Women’s Alpine World Cup Team from 1994-1998, and see one of his athletes earn a Gold Medal in the 98’ Olympics, along with many other successes.   

After retiring from the Ski Racing world he began his own business in 1998.  His dedication and enthusiasm for being the best has shown in the homes he has built over the past decade.  Andreas takes great pride in his work and enjoys building beautiful custom homes.

A family business through and through, Andreas’s wife, Kirsten Clark-Rickenbach who was also an avid skier and a 13 year member of the United States Ski Team, competed in 3 Olympics and 6 World Championships with numerous podiums and a Silver Medal at the World Championships in 2003; organizes and runs the in home office in Squaw Valley.
